Joan Bennert
Librarian
Joan has been our volunteering her expertise to GPL for over 10 years. She created and implemented a master plan for the Frances W. Peabody Research Library, including cataloguing and storing collections in archival materials, creating finding aids, and organizing an extensive array of books, slides, photographs, maps, manuscripts and other materials. Joan is a graduate of the School of Education at Wheelock College, and holds masters degrees in education and library science from the University of Southern Maine and Simmons College, respectively. Joan is an avid watercolor painter and pursues her passion with trips to the Caribbean each spring.
