In addition to the specific gifts listed below, we encourage you to shop local at your favorite businesses! In order to keep our downtowns vibrant we need to support our friends and neighbors who provide goods and services right here.

Rising Tide Fort IPA

A delicious beer for a good cause! Rising Tide’s Fort is brewed to support the Friends of Fort Gorges and their mission to protect the fort’s structure while offering dynamic events and opportunities for visitors. Not an IPA fan? Check out one of their other great offerings, many of which support fantastic causes in our region.

There are so many wonderful things we wanted to mention that didn’t make it on to this list, so here are just a couple more ideas:

Head to a Makers Market at Thompson’s Point to check out a wide variety of Maine-made crafts, food, and more!
Shop at one of the many antique and vintage stores in our area, either to find the perfect item or a gift certificate for the friend or family member who loves old things, no matter if it’s house parts, clothes, dishes, records, or just about anything else.
Membership to one of the area’s numerous museums!
