The goal of Preservation Pages is to bring people together to discuss books that relate to themes of preservation: place, design, urban planning, and other topics that we at Greater Portland Landmarks think about every single day. Each gathering will be in the greater Portland area in a site that shares some connection with the content of the book for a local context. The club is free to join and there’s no commitment, just come to the ones you’re interested in!
This month we’re reading When No One is Watching by Alyssa Cole. Gentrification is a hot button issue and one that isn’t going to be solved over night. This book puts a new spin on the topic and is perfect for the spooky season. Location to be revealed soon!
