150 Years of Portland Homes
RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURE FROM THE REVOLUTION TO WORLD WAR I
Fifty years after he first delivered a series of lectures on the architectural history of Portland for Greater Portland Landmarks, Earle G. Shettleworth, Jr. returns to reprise the series with a two-part lecture on the city’s historic domestic architecture. Using the same photographs taken by noted photographer Richard Cheek in the 1970s, Mr. Shettleworth will lead us all through the evolution of Portland’s homes over the course of two evenings, hosted in person & online via Zoom.
