Greater Portland Landmarks will be hosting a free Open House from 10 am - 12 pm on March 16, 2025 at the US Custom House, 312 Fore Street, Portland.

The US Custom House was designed by Alfred B. Mullett and built in 1868-72, after the Great Fire of 1866, to accommodate the city’s growing customs business. The exterior of the structure is currently preserved by its local Landmark status, but the mostly original interior is potentially under threat.
